Ms Roche’s class are looking at how animals and plants adapt to their environment. 

If you are looking for your definitions you can use Google.  Type define: and then the word that you are looking for and Google will return you a list of definitons.

There are lots of books on animals on the book shelves.  Look for books with Dewey numbers between 590 and 599.  Books which have a Dewey number of 591 will be most useful, however books on specific kinds of animals will also have information about their habitats.  Use the index and contents pages.
